Away Resorts respects the environment and the need to protect it and as such we will continually look to minimise any impact our operations have on it. We are on a journey of continuous improvement to address environmental issues and open ourselves to others to help us evaluate, learn and improve. We love our people and want to protect our planet to make sure the future is amazing for everyone.

What we buy

Recycling
We have recycling initiatives in our central support office and Biffa recycling points across our resorts.
Our suppliers
We choose suppliers that share the same values as us, no packages in single use plastics.
Planting trees
For every holiday home we sell, we plant a tree in the UK.
Supporting our wildlife
We've introduced more wildlife gardens across our parks, supporting our bee buddies and creepy crawlies.

Reducing food waste
We only use dehydrated fruit in our bars, so less food waste.
Beach cleans
Each of our coastal locations organise local beach cleans to support in keeping our beaches and oceans clean.
Going digital
We only use recycled paper for all our marketing and POS across our resorts, and moving what we can online.
Single use plastics
Since 01 January 2022 we have had no single use plastics in our bars.
Ocean Recovery Project
Bude Holiday Resort are supporting Keep Britain Tidy against polystyrene bodyboards damaging our oceans.
Airflow
In our new development at Mill Rythe Coastal Village we have installed a natural airflow system.
Natural energy source
Our playgrounds at both Appletree and Mill Rythe are built from natural wood from a renewable source.
